Born and raised in Australia, our founder Sam Brignall began his carpentry career straight out of high school, completing a four-year apprenticeship while earning his Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery at Wollongong TAFE in New South Wales.

Since then, Sam has worked on a wide range of commercial and residential projects across Australia and Canada, gaining hands-on experience in every stage of construction—from foundations and formwork to fine finishing. He has also owned and operated his own contracting businesses in Wollongong and Bowral, NSW, further refining his skills and leadership in the trade.

With over 15 years of industry experience, Sam has found his passion and expertise in finishing and custom carpentry.

In 2019, Sam and his partner moved to Kelowna, BC, where he spent several years working with custom home builders. By 2025, he decided to take the next step—launching his own venture to focus on what he loves most: high-quality finishing and custom carpentry work.
