ABOUT

BSA Troop 109 of Brighton Colorado, chartered in 1932, is one of the oldest Troops in the Great Valley District of the Greater Colorado Council. Our Troop has a long tradition of training young adults to become the future leaders of our nation. We pride ourselves in building strong, responsible, and independent young adults who are an asset to their community. Above all, we stress the importance of The Scout Oath and Law in everything we do.

Our Troop is a very active group of young adults. We strive to have weekend camp outs every month with the exception of December. We also plan fun activities like hiking, swimming, and overnight lock-ins. Our goal is for everyone to have fun developing their skills while building strong relationships with friends and family.

Scout Oath: On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law: A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

History

Boy Scout Troop 109 is chartered by the Brighton Elks Lodge #1586 and has been since 1932, 2 years after the Elks Lodge itself was established.

Members

Members of Troop 109 can join our Facebook Group. This is a private Facebook Group where we share pictures, discussions and post our events. This is a Closed Group and you must be approved as a Member before being able to access the group. This is to protect the privacy of you and your Scout.
