30 minute weekly lessons
$60 per month (4 lessons)
Payments are due at the first lesson of each month. Cash or Venmo.
Free Lesson
The first lesson is FREE so your child can try a lesson out before you commit! I do my best to create a fun & safe environment so they'll want to stick around. :)
Students
My lessons are designed for beginner or intermediate students ages 5-13. Students will need to have access to a piano to practice on in between lessons. I will provide daily activities and practice material and I expect students to practice every day to be prepared at their lesson.
Method
I use the Faber Piano Adventures Method & Books to help children learn the piano. Students are expected to purchase their own books and bring them to each lesson. After our first lesson, I will let you know which book to buy. I've provided links to a variety of places you can buy these books.
Emily's Experience:
I have been playing the piano for 20 years. I am classically trained in music theory and repertoire. I have experience teaching piano to 5, 8, and 10 year olds, and feel confident in my ability to work with all elementary-aged kids. I believe that I make learning fun and engaging and I'm excited to help your child to learn such a fun instrument!
