Are you looking for personalized support to help your child excel academically? Look no further! As a dedicated teacher with a background in Elementary Education, I offer a blend of classroom expertise and individualized attention to ensure your child’s success.

With over twenty years of experience in classroom instruction, after-school activities, small intervention groups, and one-on-one tutoring, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for teaching to every session. My experience has given me a deep understanding of curriculum and effective teaching strategies.  Whether your child needs extra help in a specific subject or personalized support to thrive in a homeschool environment, I'm here to make a difference.  Now offering tutoring and classes at my home in Mapleton, Utah.

My Services & Fees

Individual Tutoring in Math, Reading & Writing  [$40/hour sessions or $30/40-min Zoom]

• My individualized sessions are designed to address your child’s unique learning style and needs, helping to build confidence and achieve academic goals.  Not all students learn in the same way and I love to find alternative strategies to achieve those "Aha! Lightbulb!" moments.  [Grades K-8]

• For beginning and/or struggling readers, I have training in the Wilson Reading System and Orton-Gillingham methods and use a multi-sensory approach to teaching phonics.

• Need homeschool support? Do you want to make sure your student is on the right track? Would it help to have an experienced teacher support you as the teacher and provide intervention or enrichment as needed for your student?

Enrichment/After-School Classes [$11/hour session per student plus material fee]

• Each semester, I offer a variety of Enrichment or After-School Classes in these subjects: STEM, Math, Reading and Writing. Classes require at least 4 students and are limited to 8 students.  Class Fees will be determined by the number of weeks in the schedule.  Refer to the list of Current Class Offerings below for more information.

• Arrangements can be made to bring an Enrichment Class to your homeschool co-op or neighborhood group within Mapleton, Springville or Spanish Fork.

• Personalized Learning Plans: I assess your child’s strengths and areas for improvement to create a focused and effective learning plan.

• Engaging and Supportive Environment: I foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates and inspires, with a little bit of fun sprinkled along the way. I do as much hands-on and multi-sensory instruction as possible to increase engagement.
