Bright Minds, Big Heart was created from real-life experience
I am a 25- Year old mother of two , and my world changed when my oldest child was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at just 2 years old. Like many parents , I was overwhelmed, emotional, and unsure of where to start. I didnt know what resources were available , who to trust, or how to navigate this new path.
When I moved back to Indiana, that feeling only grew stronger. Resources felt scarce , and finding the right support wasnt easy. I remeber wishing there was a place where everything was laid out clearly -- A space where families like mine could turn for guidance , support and understanding.
So I created one.
Bright Minds, Big Heart was built to help families feel less alone. To provide real resources , real guidance , and a real sense of community for parents navigating autism.
This isnt just an organization -- its personal .
Its for my child, your child, and every family that deserves support, understanding, and a place where they truly belong.
A world where every child is accepted , supported , and given the oppurtunity to thrive.
To Connect, Support, and Empower families of children with autism by providing access to resources, creating free inclusive events, guidance to parents, and community.
Every donation and volunteer makes it possible for us to create
safe, inclusive events for autistic children and their families.
