I am a parent of two living in King Township, with one child currently attending our local YRDSB school. I hold a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University and began my career as a community news reporter with the TorStar (Metroland) family of newspapers in Ottawa. There, I covered municipal politics and local government, including school board issues, in depth.

I moved to York Region in 2020 and have since made Nobleton home. Today, I work as a communications and marketing professional for an Ottawa-based technology company, bringing experience in journalism, communications and public affairs to my work.
