6th Grade Service Project
Each year, the 6th grade class participates in a service project prior to being promoted from elementary to middle school. This year, the students will be writing cards of encouragement to residents in a local nursing home. These cards will be distributed during the week of May 10 as a way to celebrate National Nursing Home Week. As the theme for this year's National Nursing Home Week is "Moments in Bloom," we would also like to gift each resident a small envelope of seeds for planting. Please review the small number of items needed for this service project below. All items can be purchased on Amazon or at local stores at a reasonable price.
