Instructions and Rules
Participants will pick up a pre-made packet of 100 craft sticks, a 4oz bottle of glue, and instructions. (Should be able to pick this up from any recreation center.)
On the competition day, participants bring their completed bridge to their local competition to be judged.
Local competitions will be held on February 1 from 10am - 1pm at the following locations:

Thomasville Parks & Recreation - RECREATION MAIN OFFICE (1 E. Main St, Thomasville 336-475-4280)
Participants will compete as individuals in four age groups: 8-10, 11-14, 15-17, and adult.
Bridges will be judged based on how much weight it will support, divided by the total mass of the structure.
The top three most efficient bridges in the youth categories and the first place in the adult category will not only win a medal but also, advance to the regional competition.
