September 13th, 4:00 pm: Faithful Men in Concert at Bridgewater Baptist Church. Freewill offering will go to support the local Blueridge Area Food Bank.
OCTOBER 4- Our membership is hosting a Chicken B-B-Q luncheon, with chicken provided by the Wenger family. You definitely don't want to miss this one!
OCT 10- HARVEST FESTIVAL--We are in the planning stages for the Harvest Festival. Food and Fun for everyone!
Bible Study: Tuesdays at 10:00 am, held in our Fellowship Hall. Use the lower level parking area behind the church. Please check our Events Calendar or our FB page for any changes to the scheduled dates and times.
Wednesday Evening Bible Study Suspended for the summer! We will meet again starting September 27th.
WMU (Women's Mission United): Second Thursday of each month, our WMU group meets at 1:00 pm (please check our calendar for any changes to this time) in the Fellowship Hall. We are also meeting at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall for anyone not able to attend our mid-day meeting.
Children's Story and extended Children's time during service are offered. Nursery and child care services for worship available, please see an usher.
RECENT EVENTS:
Several of our church members and attendees were present at the Bridgewater College Welcome Back event. We found old friends and made some new ones to!
We held our Fall Churchwide Picnic in our shelter on August 30th. Loads of food and fellowship were had by all!
LOCAL MISSION OPPORTUNITIES:
-At this time, in preparation for the return of our local university and college students, we are collecting snack items. These will be made available in the dorms at Bridgewater College and in the Baptist Student Union at JMU. Students love snacks, so let's help them during study times by providing something to munch on!
