CHRISTMAS IN JULY!
Our first ever CHRISTMAS IN JULY event is centered on Operation Christmas Child. We are promoting gathering your OCC Box early, allowing everyone to take advantage of Back to School sales as well as 'end of season' sales for summer items and more!
If this is something of interest to you and your family, feel free to join us any Sunday to collect your own box or boxes. If Sunday doesn't work, use the church email to ask for arrangements to be made for your pick up.
AUGUST 2- We will host guest speaker, Mr. Mark Mitchell. Everyone is invited to not only hear his inspirational message, but also to join us after for a special 'salads' luncheon in his honor. All items will be provided by the ladies of the church, so please just come and enjoy.
AUGUST 30- Our annual "Picnic in the Shelter" at 6:00pm. ALL ARE WELCOME!
OCTOBER 4- Our membership is hosting a Chicken B-B-Q luncheon, with chicken provided by the Wenger family. You definitely don't was to miss this one!
HARVEST FESTIVAL--We are in the planning stages for the Harvest Festival, so check back for details!
Bible Study: Tuesdays at 10:00 am, held in our Fellowship Hall. Use the lower level parking area behind the church. Please check our Events Calendar or our FB page for any changes to the scheduled dates and times.
Wednesday Evening Bible Study Suspended for the summer! We will meet again starting September 27th.
WMU: Second Thursday of each month, our WMU group meets at 1:00 pm (please check our calendar for any changes to this time) in the Fellowship Hall. This is our Women's Mission Group.
Children's Story and extended Children's time during service are offered. Nursery and child care services for worship available, please see an usher.
LOCAL MISSION OPPORTUNITIES:
-We are currently collecting change in our Pure Water, Pure Love funding drive. If you wish to participate, please contact the church (email) and we will provide you with a collection bottle. If you wish to make a simple donation, please do the same to make arrangements to drop off.
-We had a small team join with Westside Baptist of Dayton on a mission trip to the Bland Mission center in Bland, VA. Pictures and updates will be added soon.
Our team members participated in building a new handicap access ramp for a fellow Baptist Church in Bland as well as tackling the 'Mountain of Love' donations of clothing and household items. These are sorted by local need and useability in other less fortunate areas.
