Structural Analysis Laboratory

• 충남대학교 구조해석실험실(CNU SAL)에서는 사회기반시설물의 안전한 설계와 지속적인 유지관리를 위한 다양한 해석방법을 연구하고 있으며, 개발된 방법을 정부 및 관리기관들의 협력을 통해 실무에 적용하기 위해서 노력하고 있습니다.  관련 연구과제는 구조해석실험실의 주된 연구주제는 다음과 같습니다: 

    (1) 사회기반시설물, 특히 교량에 대한 유지관리와 장수명화를 고려한 설계방법 개발과 구조물의 해석방법 개발,

    (2) 구조물 유지관리 방안마련, 전략 및 계획 수립/개선, 보수보강 방법 개발

    (3) 충돌, 화재, 지진 등의 극한 하중에 대한 설계 및 해석방법 개발, 위험도 평가 기법 개발

    (4) 구조물 건전성 모니터링을 위한 시스템 구축 및 계측장치 개발.

    주요 연구지원기관은 한국연구재단, 한국도로공사, 국토교통과학기술진흥원, 한국건설기술연구원, 국토안전관리원 등이 있습니다.

• Structural Analysis Laboratory at Chungnam National University (CNU SAL) extensively performed many researches and participated many national research opportunities. The main objectives of CNU SAL are: 

    (1) develop design and analysis methods for civil infrastructures such as bridges,

    (2) develop and establish of structural monitoring system and monitoring devices and instruments,

    (3) improve bridge maintenance strategy, decision and plan based on statistical analysis and expert opinion,

    (4) develop numerical and experimental analysis methods for extreme loads such as fire, earthquake, collision, impact and blast, etc.

• CNU SAL welcomes highly motivated enthusiastic graduate students pursuing Masters and/or Ph.D. degrees. Please contact the professor for research assistantship opportunity. Undergraduate students are also welcomed for their research experience.
