Hi, everyone! I am Ashleigh. As my full time job, I am an Ad Interim Clinical Instructor of Educaton. I have a Bachelors in English with my secondary teaching certification, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Masters in Educational Leadership with my Texas principal certification. I currently am working on my Educational Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Special Education and plan to be done by Spring of 2026!
I am married to my husband, Seth, and we have a 4 year old son, Lincoln. We are active members at our church where we serve on the worship team and in the young adult ministry.
For fun, I love spending time with my family, cooking/baking, and being a travel agent! I started Bridges of Hope Travel Co. in September 2022 with my host compant Boardwalk Travel Agency because I loved helping my faily and friends find the best deals on vacations. And I loved giving them all the tips and tricks. Now, I really enjoy being able to plan so many vacations for many different families all across the United States!
As you can see, I stay very busy, but I enjoy everything that I do! I would love to be able to find the best vacation for you.
In January 2016, for our honeymoon, my husband Seth and I enjoyed a Disney Cruise out of Galveston, Texas to Tortola, British Virgin Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. This was our Disney experience together (I went to Disney World in 2013 on a band trip), and I believe this is what started our love for Disney. We are MAJOR Star Wars fans, and on the ship they showed Star Wars Episode IX in the main theater as it was just released. It was one of the best theater experiences - the movement of the ship with film was *chef's kiss*
We are currently planning our next Disney Cruise for our now family of 3. We are hoping to do a Stars Wars, PIXAR, or Marvel Day at Sea (which are all cruises out of Port Canaveral, Florida).
In June 2019, I had the opportunity to travel to San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico with my Masters program. I spent La Hacienda de Allende and teaching students English in the little town of La Clavainas. While there, we traveled into the city where I explored some of Mexico's history, the mercado, and beautiful architecture. We also spent an afternoon exploring the Mayan pyramids, which was a site to see in itself!
I look forward to traveling back one day and taking my family with me to enjoy the beauty of San Miguel de Allende.
My family has recently traveled to Walt Disney World (December 2021) and Disneyland California (December 2022). Feel free to check out some photos from our trips!
Our son was 18 months old when we took him in 2021, and he had a great time! There is no right or wrong age to take your children to Disney or any vacation for that matter!
As of 2025, we have been to Disneyland 4 times and Walt Disney World 3 times (I myself have been 6 times).
