Meet the Teachers

Mrs. Badgett (HQ) is excited to be starting her 21st year teaching. She taught Kindergarten for 15 years and this will be her 6th year teaching 1st grade. She is originally from Virginia and received her B.S. in Psychology and Masters of Teaching from Virginia Commonwealth University. 

When she's not at school, Mrs. Badgett enjoys spending time with her husband, her 2 children and their dogs Hank, Charlie and Carolina in their boat or at the beach. 

Dr. Megan DeWeese

Dr. DeWeese (HQ) is beginning her 11th year in the classroom (her 3rd year as a Buc)! She received her Bachelors from Troy University, her Masters from Armstrong Atlantic State University, and her Doctor of Education from the University of South Carolina. 

She loves living in the country with her husband, Brandon (police officer), daughters (EllieKate-13 & Amelia-11), 4 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, and her donkey, Eeyore. When not at school, Dr. DeWeese leads a busy but blessed life with events such as attending church events, leading her church youth group, attending Gamecock games, going to Disney, and watching her daughters compete in cheerleading. 

Mrs. "Mo" (HQ) has served as an educator for 34 years.  She graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She has been blessed to work in several states across the U.S. and overseas.  Mrs. "Mo" is married to Kacy (retired US Marine), is a mother to one daughter Maya (a Kindergarten teacher), and Nana to Aiden (her 5 year old grandson). 

When not at school, she enjoys spending time with her family and being a Nana!

Ms. Wallace is super excited to start her 2nd year at Bridges Prep! She graduated from the University of South Carolina and can’t wait to bring her passion for learning to her classroom. When she's not teaching, she loves spending time outdoors, exploring new places in the area, and staying active. She's looking forward to getting to know all of you and making this year a fantastic experience together!
