We teens today are growing up in a world where division, judgment, and misunderstanding are everywhere — and we believe we have the power to make it better!
BRIDGE exists to help students build empathy, connection, and courage to talk across differences, so they can create a kinder, stronger future.
BRIDGE is a youth-led movement to build respect, initiate dialogue, and grow empathy—one conversation at a time.
BRIDGE isn’t just a club. It’s a student-powered initiative to bridge divides and unite people through dialogue, respect, and empathy. We exist because we believe the next generation can rise above division by learning to listen, connect, and lead with empathy. BRIDGE empowers students to build respect, initiate dialogue, and grow empathy in a divided world.
We're new and we're ready for your ideas, your events, your partnership and your creativity!
Founded by teens, for teens, BRIDGE provides a platform to:
Build respectful, inclusive communities
Start courageous conversations
Listen, learn, and lead with empathy
Get involved in civic duties that teens care about
BRIDGE was born during a conversation between a mom and her teenage son, Carter, who asked a powerful question:
"What if I took on the biggest problem no one thinks we can solve—division?"
That moment sparked the idea for a movement. Now, BRIDGE empowers students across schools to build a culture of empathy and dialogue, one conversation at a time.
We create safe spaces where students can talk honestly, listen deeply, and learn from each other across differences. Here are some of the topics we dive into:
🗣️ Identity & Belonging
What makes us feel included—or left out?
How do race, culture, gender, and background shape our experience?
💬 Navigating Differences
How can we stay connected with people who disagree with us?
What does respectful disagreement look like?
🌍 Current Events & Civic Engagement
What issues matter most to Gen Z—and what can we do about them?
How do we process difficult news or polarizing topics?
❤️ Mental Health & Empathy
How do we lead with compassion in a world that often feels harsh?
Why is it important to be vulnerable and real?
🎯 Values & Leadership
What do you stand for?
What kind of leader do you want to become?

✨ What if we could see what someone was going through? ✨
In a world where so many teens feel invisible, misunderstood, or alone, this is a reminder that everyone is carrying something. Anxiety. Pressure. Loss. Insecurity. We may not see it—but it’s there.

THE EMPATHY FILM
Inspired by the Cleveland Clinic’s powerful video on empathy, we are looking for students to help create a short film spotlighting what teens are really going through—anxiety, loneliness, pressure, and more.
Want to be involved? Share your story, help film, or attend our premiere event! Stay-tuned for more details!
A big focus of BRIDGE is on growing empathy. Many of our projects exist to remind teens that we don't know what another person is going through. Our goal is to grow the awareness and empathy that seems to be lacking today! Please join us if this is something you want to be involved in!
