This Privacy Policy describes how WR Tools ("we", "our", or "us") handles data when you use the mobile application BridgeDroid: Web File Manager (the "App").

Your privacy is critically important to us. BridgeDroid: Web File Manager is designed with a "Privacy by Design" approach. The App functions entirely as a local offline utility and does not collect, monitor, or store your personal data on any external servers.

1. Data Collection and Processing

• Local Operation Only: The App initializes a local HTTP and mDNS/SSDP server directly on your Android device to allow file management from a web browser within the same local network.

• No Server Storage: All files, thumbnails, media streams, and directory data processed by the App remain exclusively on your physical device and the connected local browser session. No data is ever transmitted to WR Tools or any third-party cloud infrastructure.

• File Permissions: The App requires access to your device’s storage to read, write, copy, delete, or display files as requested by you via the browser interface. These permissions are used solely to execute your commands locally.

2. Third-Party Services and Advertising

To support the ongoing maintenance and development of this free application, the App integrates the following third-party service:

• Google AdMob: The App displays integrated banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob inside the mobile interface. Google AdMob may collect and use anonymous device identifiers, cookies, or location data solely to serve relevant advertisements. 3. IMPORTANT: Network Security & User Responsibility Disclaimer

BridgeDroid: Web File Manager relies on your local Wi-Fi network to establish a connection between your smartphone and your PC/browser.

Legal Disclaimer and User Liability: WR Tools shall not be held responsible or legally liable for any unauthorized access, data interception, security breaches, data loss, or privacy violations that occur if the user chooses to operate the App on public, unencrypted, or shared Wi-Fi networks (such as public hotspots, cafes, hotels, or unsecured networks). It is the sole responsibility of the user to ensure that the App is operated within a trusted, secure, and private network environment to protect their personal files from unauthorized local network snooping.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is transmitted to us, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect any personal information from children.

5. Limitation of Liability & Data Loss Disclaimer

WR Tools is not responsible or liable for any accidental loss, corruption, or deletion of data from your smartphone resulting from user error, improper handling, or incorrect operation of the BridgeDroid application. The user assumes full responsibility for all file actions performed through the web interface (including, but not limited to, copying, pasting, moving, and deleting files). We strongly recommend keeping regular backups of your important data.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in the App’s functionality or legal requirements. The most current version will always be accessible via this link or within the App.
