College & Career Bridge for All (CCB4A) is a program that works with DOE and CUNY to increase postsecondary enrollment by hiring and training college students to provide meaningful advising to graduating seniors through the postsecondary planning, financial aid, and matriculation processes. In 2020, we scaled our program to ensure that all students in the NYCDOE graduating class have access to a near-peer Bridge Coach to support them on their postsecondary journey. As a city-wide program, we serve more than 50,000 students annually as they graduate from the NYCDOE. So, a Bridge Coach is a trained college student who helps students with the matriculation process.

FAQ: About Me
Hi! I'm Jamie Liu, and I'm a sophomore at Baruch College. I'm currently pursuing a major in History, and my life goal is to go into museum work or the public history field. I'll also be your Bridge Coach this summer, and I'm meant to help you through your post-secondary plans.
No, I'm not a robot. I'm a real person. I'd hope that I'm not a robot, at least. That would be very awkward. As it stands, I've gone through the process of figuring out what I'm doing after high school before, so I know how overwhelming it is. That's why you can ask me anything!
Okay! Here's some more personal information about me: In my free time, I enjoy drawing. I've been a digital artist for almost 8 years now. One day, I want to illustrate my own webcomic, as well as create my own merchandise for the media I enjoy! I also write creatively in my spare time, and I love to read as well-- any book with magic, fantasy, or mythology involved is right up my alley.
I’m here to help you figure out what you want to do with your life after high school. I know how difficult it can be to make sense of all of the new responsibilities and expectations that come after graduation, especially after spending 4 years in the same environment. Your post-secondary plans are a really big decision to make, and it can be super nerve wracking to think about the future– but that’s why I’m going to guide you through it! I’ll support your journey through whatever path you choose to take, whether you decide to go to college or not.
Throughout the summer, I’ll be sending you weekly reminders on what deadlines are approaching, various events to check out, and links to resources that might be helpful for you. I’ll also be available for you to contact through email, text, phone call, Instagram DM, and scheduled one-on-one meetings if you have any questions or concerns about post-secondary planning. I hope to be able to start you on a life path that you can feel excited and safe about, and I’m excited to get to know you all very soon!
