Brick Fusion is a nonprofit organization that brings together youth through creative, hands-on LEGO building experiences designed to foster character, leadership, and social awareness. Focused on students ages 10–18 in the Fairfield, Trumbull, and Bridgeport, CT areas, Brick Fusion offers after-school programs and community events that promote teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation. Through fun, inclusive, and collaborative projects, participants build not just with bricks—but also confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging.
Our experience with the BrickFusion program has been incredible. Having had a tremendous after-school program experience this past year, we counted down the days to the summer program. From the moment we walked in, the kids were hooked; the program is extremely interactive, keeping them fully engaged and excited every single day.
The instructors are enthusiastic, supportive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They create a positive, welcoming environment that empowers every child to learn, grow, and have fun. My kids come home happy, excited, and with new ideas pouring out of them. They would go every day if they could!
We’re so grateful to have found BrickFusion; the enthusiasm, creativity, and vision behind it are truly inspiring. - Jamie Young

The Founders and Leaders
I’m Skylar Robinson, a passionate LEGO enthusiast and a senior at Fairchild Wheeler High School in the engineering program. I’m excited to collaborate with my friends Aaron Bouffard and Alex Roshenets to turn my LEGO dreams into reality.
My love affair with LEGO began when I was just two years old. Diagnosed with autism at that age, LEGO became more than just a toy; it was a therapeutic tool that allowed me to overcome obstacles and express my creativity.
At seven, a pivotal moment in my LEGO journey occurred when I won a nationwide LEGO contest with a video my dad submitted. This achievement led me to join a creative crew of young builders at Legoland in Yonkers, NY, where I worked alongside adult master builders. That experience solidified my passion and made me realize that LEGO building was my true calling.
By the age of eight, I was constructing the largest LEGO sets in record time. I thrive on challenges and spend countless hours perfecting my builds. My room is a testament to my dedication, filled wall-to-wall with LEGO creations. The sense of accomplishment I get from building is something I want to share with other LEGO enthusiasts.
Together with my team, I’m creating a space where LEGO builders can come together to be creative, make friends, and showcase their skills. Our club, Brick Fusion, is a relaxed, non-judgmental environment where anyone who loves building can feel welcome and valued. My vision is to grow this club into a thriving community for LEGO enthusiasts.
In addition to my LEGO pursuits, I started my own brand, “Sky’s The Limit,” when I was nine years old. I sell T-shirts and hats with my logo to fund my LEGO passion. Beyond LEGO, I’m also a collector of Nintendo plushies and have a keen interest in drawing and creating animations. My ultimate dream is to work for LEGO and join their design team.
I am immensely grateful to my family and friends for their unwavering support throughout my journey.
Join me and the Brick Fusion Club, where everyone feels safe, valued, and inspired to create.
Let’s build a community where the sky is truly the limit!
Sup y'al! - I’m Aaron Bouffard, proud to be part of the Trumbull High Class of 2025 and a member of the Trumbull HS Wrestling Team!
Since I was a 5-year-old, LEGO has been an important part of my life. The thrill of unwrapping a new set and running up the stairs, carefully trying not to drop it, all to proudly present my new build to my parents
But LEGO isn’t just about building structures; it’s about developing skills and unleashing creativity. With each set, I’ve cultivated patience and problem-solving abilities that I seamlessly apply to everything I do, whether it’s getting tough assignments at school or tackling everyday challenges at home.
My love for LEGO never wavers in all my activities like wrestling, where strength and agility take center stage. It’s a passion that fuels my creativity, resilience, and sense of achievement with every completed build. Now, I’m excited to be part of this incredible club—a community where I can share LEGO's pure joy and exhilaration with others.
The skills I’ve mastered through LEGO have spilled over into my other hobbies, like playing electric guitar, exploring the world of 3D printing, developing my own company Total3D, and dominating on the wrestling mat. It’s like LEGO is the ultimate training ground for life! I've always had a strong passion for building Legos and want to share it with others. I partnered with Skylar to create this amazing club to provide other kids with the same fun and excitement I always get when I dive into a build.

Hey, I’m Alex Roshenets, a Junior at Bridgeport Aquaculture and Fairfield Ludlowe High School. I’m fluent in Russian and am learning Spanish and Ukrainian. Ever since I was a child, LEGO has been a big part of my creative expression and development as a thinker, artist, and creator.
I grew up around art. My father is an artist who studied in Saint Petersburg, Russia and has always helped me on my creative journey, especially with LEGO. Some of my fondest childhood memories involve listening to children’s audiobooks while building something out of LEGO for hours. It helped me connect with other kids my age, as I had trouble making friends, and LEGO was a great way to bond over a common interest. I also love engineering, and as a kid, LEGO allowed me to bring my ideas to life, especially when I didn't have the tools or supplies to build them. I would make functioning Beyblades, fidget spinners, Nerf guns, and puzzles, all with the help of LEGO. It’s taught me about love, acceptance, and the value of staying true to your inner child.
Even to this day, LEGO has helped me with my endeavors in life. It’s improved my fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, which is great for when I’m writing and performing songs for my band, or performing complicated chemistry experiments and dissecting animals at Aquaculture. I think that LEGO brings the world together and lets kids be kids, despite economic adversity, bullying, and other issues they might face.
I strongly believe in Brick Fusion’s goal and hope that I can help your kids be social, have fun, and create art with new and old friends. It will help them be creative and stimulate their brains, all while learning social skills and other important skills that will aid them later in life.
