International VBS

June 2nd-6th 9am-12pm

@ Briarwood Presbyterian Church (G101)

A free week of practicing English, eating good food, learning about the Bible, and making crafts together. Children 6th grade and below can come a be a part of children’s Vacation Bible School. Please register here if you plan to attend.

ESL @ the Hoover Public Library

Meet at the café in the back of the library. We will learn about the library and watch an interactive and educational dog show from 10:30-11:30.

ESL @ Central Park Homewood

We will practice speaking English together while enjoying the park.

Fall ESL Classes 2025

Tuesday Morning English Classes:

1st Day of Class: Tuesday, August 26

Last class: Tuesday, November 11

Tuesday mornings from 10 to 11:45am
Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Fellowship Hall E & F - use this entrance
Free nursery available for 0-5 yrs old- Click here to register your child– choose “ESL Class” on the form under scheduled events as the reason you are dropping off your child

Wednesday Night English Classes:

1st Day of Class: Wednesday, September 3

Last Day of Class: Wednesday, November 12

Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8pm
Briarwood Lower School in room # E313 (located at Briarwood Church) - use the door to the right of this entrance
Free nursery available for 0-5 yrs old- Click here to register your child– choose “ESL Class” on the form under scheduled midweek events as the reason you are dropping off your child
Older children are welcome to attend Briarwood’s childrens and youth ministry activities.

Textbooks are $20- Cash or Venmo
