Problem Statement

According to the National Fire Protection Association, from 2014- 2018, The United States Fire Departments responded to an average of 172,000 home fires per year due to cooking activities. Out of these fires, 31% were caused by unattended cooking equipment, leading to an average of 550 civilian deaths, and 4,820 injuries.
