Notable projects he has led include a $100 million mixed-use redevelopment in Salt Lake City and a $250 million development project in Kirkland, Washington. In addition to acquisitions, Brian has played an essential role in recapitalizing $380 million worth of legacy investments. His ability to source equity and debt capital, restructure partnerships, and negotiate loan workouts has proven invaluable during challenging economic periods. Before joining Coventry, Brian began his career at Lehman Brothers as an analyst in the firm’s Real Estate group. His outstanding performance in this role earned him a spot on the Real Estate Partners Fund I, a $1.6 billion private equity vehicle. This early exposure to institutional real estate and private equity was a formative experience in his career, providing him with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in the competitive world of real estate investments.

Brian Moss of New York graduated from Northwestern University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a minor in Business Institutions. While at Northwestern, he was also a standout athlete, playing for the Men’s Varsity Tennis Team. His academic excellence and athletic achievements earned him recognition as an Academic All-Big Ten and a spot on the Dean’s List.
Brian was originally from Winnipeg, Canada, and moved to Seattle, Washington, during his early teenage years. At Lakeside High School, he excelled in tennis, becoming a state finalist and a top-ranked player in Canada and the U.S. His success in junior tennis led to a partial scholarship to attend Northwestern, where he continued to thrive in academics and sports.
In addition to his professional career, Brian is actively involved in his community. He is a youth soccer coach and serves on the Greenpoint Williamsburg Youth Soccer League (GWYSL) board, a non-profit organization affiliated with the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO). He is also involved with the Terry Fox Foundation, an organization that raises funds for cancer research. His philanthropic efforts extend to supporting Ice Hockey in Harlem, a program dedicated to helping young people from underserved communities develop confidence, leadership, and academic success through hockey.
Brian is also committed to supporting Stockings with Care, a non-profit providing holiday gifts and supplies to needy families. He has been a donor to the ASPCA for many years, demonstrating his dedication to animal welfare.
Brian Moss lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys watching his daughters play soccer and spending time with them outdoors. In addition to family activities, he is passionate about sports, enjoying tennis, skiing, and padel. He is also a devoted hockey fan, particularly of his hometown, Winnipeg Jets.
