CROW HAND opens with the opening title "Based on a True Story", which is partly true. I really did find a strange crow totem on the ground in a parking lot and my Wife did tell me not to pick it up. We joked that my hand transformed into a crow after touching the totem and I yelled "CROW HAND!!!" And then we thought that we would be a fun movie to make. From ideation to completion, the film took about 6 months and screened at over 60 film festivals across the world including SXSW, Fantasia, Beyond Fest, garnered over half a million views on YouTube and was made a Vimeo Staff Pick.
