I am an economist with a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from the University of the Philippines. I conduct research in various fields, including development economics, energy economics, macroeconomics, and environmental economics.
My recent research involvement includes producing published and forthcoming papers on topics such as income-pollution modeling, computable general equilibrium analysis, climate vulnerability, and firm-level determinants of fuel choice. I have presented some of my studies at several international conferences and have been involved in peer reviewing for reputable journals in the Philippines and abroad.
As an educator, I handled various undergraduate economics courses at the University of the Philippines and graduate courses at the Ateneo de Manila University. In addition, I oversaw and supervised the preparation and finalization of thesis proposals and thesis manuscripts, respectively, of undergraduate economics students.Â
As a researcher, I was involved in several projects with me taking on various roles from Research Associate, Researcher, Research Director, and Research Consultant at the University of the Philippines, Institute for Development and Econometric Analysis (IDEA) Inc., Ateneo de Manila University, and at the Planning and Development Research Foundation (PLANADES), Inc.
I have been invited and have served as a peer reviewer for several academic journals which include Asian Journal of Economics, Business and Accounting, Asian Journal of Environment & Ecology, Asian Journal of Economics, Finance and Management, Economics, Environmental Science and Pollution Research , International Journal of Law, Crime and Justice, Journal of Economics, Management and Trade, Journal of Scientific Research and Reports, Philippine Review of Economics, and Scientific Reports.
