As a Teaching Fellow at the University of the Philippines College of Pharmacy, I assisted in delivering undergraduate and graduate coursework in pharmaceutical sciences, facilitates laboratory, and mentored students in research and academic projects. My role emphasized fostering critical thinking, hands-on learning, and professional development in future pharmacists.
Established in 1911, the University of the Philippines College of Pharmacy is the second oldest college in the UP system, coming after the College of Medicine. It is recognized as the country’s premier pharmacy school, offering undergraduate and graduate programs in pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacy, and pharmacology. The college is known for producing highly competent and socially responsible pharmacists who contribute to healthcare, research, and public health initiatives in the Philippines and internationally.
As a lecturer at the Manila Times College of Subic, I design and deliver courses in pharmacology, biochemistry, communication, and quality assurance for medical students. I incorporate evidence-based teaching strategies, interactive learning, and case-based discussions to enhance student engagement and comprehension, while guiding learners to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.
Established in August 2021, TMTCSM is a premier medical institution located in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales, Philippines. It offers a comprehensive Doctor of Medicine (MD) program designed to produce competent and compassionate physicians. The college emphasizes a curriculum that integrates foundational medical sciences with clinical practice, preparing students for the dynamic challenges of modern healthcare.
TMTCS is committed to fostering a learning environment that promotes critical thinking, ethical medical practice, and community-oriented healthcare. The institution is recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and is affiliated with various hospitals and healthcare facilities, providing students with extensive hands-on clinical training.
