As his love for words would suggest, Brian has written for a wide breadth of audiences and purposes.
In his career as a teacher, he is responsible for writing curricula, lessons, and assignments that flow coherently and are easy to understand, whether a student is learning in class, or working asynchronously and remote.
From 2005-2007, he was an editor for two online literary magazines and published multiple fiction anthologies with the (now defunct) Susurrus Press. During this time, he developed a reputation as an editor who gave feedback to help writers improve their work, and he was fortunate to have published the work of many talented individuals.
He was responsible for writing copy for the non-profits Sunday Assembly Chapel Hill and Sunday Assembly SLC, including newsletters, presentations, emails, video scripts, and social media posts.
