Are you looking for ways to break bad habits and adopt new ones?
Then you’ve found the right article to help you develop new healthy habits. Actually, being in college – or high school – doesn’t mean you shouldn’t work on improving yourself and setting some habits to last you a lifetime.
Here are the top three healthy habits for students!
Set a decent morning routine in place
You probably don’t think that the words college and morning routine go together, but we beg to differ. The way you start your day often sets the mood for the rest of the day. There’s no need to have a routine that lasts for hours but even eating breakfast every day is a great place to start. If getting up early seems just too much for you right now, move your alarm only half an hour earlier of the time you usually wake up now. Repeat until you reach the time you want to wake up!
Beat procrastination
Is there anything worse than postponing everything until the very last minute? Don’t expose yourself to that much stress.Beat procrastination by following a to-do list. Each time you do something, make sure you scratch it off the list. it’s a rewarding feeling that will motivate you to get plenty of more things done!
Take care of your body
College is all fun and games until you realize that Freshman 15 hit you hard. Take care of your body – it will thank you for that later in life. If you’re in college, it doesn’t mean you should live on microwave ramen noodle. True, you probably don’t have the time to cook yourself a three-course meal every day but limit carbs and processed foods as much as possible.
Instead, eat as much fruit and veggies as you can. Adopt the habit of drinking water. And try to hit the gym as often as possible!
