We had our first tour last year.  It was Benn's first season, so we weren't sure about going.   I'm so pleased we did.  Benn bonded with his teammates  and has made some lovely friendships.  The memories he made are so precious.  These are real childhood memories of good old fashion playing,  group activity,  getting dirty, and nonstop laughing.

Us as parents had an amazing time,  so much so that Mark had the "tour blues" when we got back.

We have booked to go again this year,  we can't wait.  As soon as the announcement was made, our deposit was down.

It's brilliantly organised and really good value.  The whole weekend was perfectly planned, and everyone was made to feel welcome and included.

Just to give you some insight into this tour. It is a fabulous, we get to stay in this very pleasant resort/park where the kids are basically free to hang out with each other or get involved in a few activities which facilitate friendship building.

Adults get to meet one another in a more social environment . There are games for all in a very low key relaxed “Isle of white “ manner.

Rugby is basically a day of playing, as I remember and there is some opportunity to do a little exploring if you wish.

This will be our second tour , so we are quite new , but it is really a great opportunity for the whole family. Everyone is friendly and there to get along. I strongly recommend it.

Having been on the tour for the previous two years I can highly recommend it to anyone considering going. The tour feels like a special occasion from the very first moment of getting on the ferry across to the Isle of Wight, spotting others in their tour hoodies and watching the island slowly come into view.

The venue itself is fantastic and having stayed in both the “posh” accommodation and the more normal caravans I can honestly say it doesn’t matter which you choose it will be clean, comfortable and good quality. The park itself has loads of activities available, but on the whole the kids just run around together having fun and asking you for the occasional pound coin so they can get some more 2p coins for the arcade! While the kids are off entertaining themselves you can indulge yourself in a pint or two or three or more! Tour isn’t just for the kids!

The partying doesn’t really stop with events on both Friday and Saturday night, followed by the games themselves at Ventnor rugby club, which is a great venue and makes a change from Henley (although they may well be there as well).

By the end of the tour the kids have a new group of best mates and some wonderful memories. I really do urge as many as possible to take part, you won’t regret it.

The tour is a fantastic weekend for both the children and the parents. A great club feel across the weekend with loads of fun for everyone and of course the fancy dress party to top it off before the festival on the Sunday! Highly recommended.

The Isle of Wight Tour is an amazing experience for the players AND parents. The kids absolutely love getting away with their rugby pals and Rookley Park is a perfect location for the weekend. Undoubtedly the highlight of the season.

I can't recommend the Bracknell Rugby Club Under 7s tour to the Isle of Wight enough! Last year's trip was an absolute blast. From the exciting ferry ride with refreshing beers in hand to the fantastic pirate-themed fancy dress day, our kids had a blast, and so did the parents. The games for the children kept them entertained for hours, and they couldn't get enough.

The caravan site was perfect for families, with an arcade, pool table, and a swimming pool that the children absolutely loved. It was a great opportunity for everyone to bond and create lasting memories. If you're looking for a fun-filled family adventure, the Bracknell Rugby Club Under 8s tour to the Isle of Wight is a must-do. We can't wait to go again this year!
