2026 ESA-India (BREW)

2026 ESA-India (BREW) will be held in person at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi, India on 14th-16th December 2026. The conference will feature a series of keynote talks (Tim Cason and Danila Serra), special sessions, and parallel sessions on behavioral/experimental research in economics and its applications, for example, to development, environment, and health.

The deadline for the submission is September 15, 2026, and the acceptance notifications will be sent out latest by September 30. Please submit an extended abstract or paper through the ESA website. 

Anyone may submit a paper (even without an ESA membership), but registration would require being an ESA member by paying the membership fee (there is a concession based on country-affiliation). There is an additional registration fee of $150 for faculty, $75 for students, $40 for faculty from Low- and Middle-Income Countries, $20 for students from Low- and Middle-Income Countries. You are invited to attend the conference even if you are not presenting a paper. The conference is being held with generous support from the ESA, and from the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi. We look forward to hosting you at JNU!
