In Scotland, mental illness is one of the most serious health issues. Every year, it is believed that one out of every three persons is impacted by a mental health problem. Depression and anxiety are the most common illnesses. Psychotic disorders affect only 1-2 percent of the population. One out of every three doctor's visits is for a mental health issue.
That is why here in Brew and Chew we try create a friendly safe space for everyone even those this mental health disorders like anxiety. We have also linked up with Lifelink, a mental health charity in Scotland who offers counselling and support to those in needs. We donate 155 of all profits made to this charity and hope to work with them for some charity and/or fundraising nights.
