We are currently installing a butterfly garden! The new space will feature native plants that support both caterpillars and adult butterflies so students will have the opportunity to observe the full butterfly life cycle. In addition to butterflies the garden will support a variety of pollinators and other wildlife.

Garden work days run from 10-12 and are open to the public, no tools or experience necessary! The whole family is welcome, come out to help us build a beautiful space for students and enjoy snacks and community!

The butterfly garden will allow the garden to expand activity offerings to include lessons on local insects, plants, wildlife, and ecology. The garden will feature native plants that support adult and juvenile butterflies to give students an opportunity to observe all stages of the butterfly life cycle.
