I received my PhD in Life-Span Development Psychology from the University of Victoria in Victoria BC Canada. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Toronto in Toronto Canada. Prior to my appointment at UNC, I was a Professor in the School of Aging Studies at the University of South Florida and a Full Member at the Moffitt Cancer Center. In addition, I was a post-doctoral research scientist at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden.
My research focuses on memory and cognition following diagnosis and treatment of cancer and among older adults at risk of Alzheimer’s disease. My work also includes advanced application of statistical methods, especially to longitudinal data.
