Tools for Education

This page includes examples of digital tools from three different categories. They include:

2A Tools for Instruction: Google Docs, Google Slides, Nearpod, iMovie, Screencast-O-Matic.

2B Tools for Management (Job and Classroom): Google Forms.

2C.Tools for Assessment: Nearpod, Google Forms.

All of these amazing digital tools can completely change a classroom. They can be adapted and changed to meet almost any need.

(2A) Tools for Instruction

Google Docs

Google Docs is a great tool to facilitate instruction. This tool can be used from everything ranging from a resume to writing a report. The document to the right is my personally resume!

Google Slides take instructions and presentations to a whole new level! To the right is an example of a Google Slideshow that I created!

Nearpod

Nearpod is another great tool because of its variability. Teachers can provide an interactive slideshow to their students. Assessments and Instructions can be embedded into the presentation! To the right is an example of a Nearpod I created!

iMovie

iMovie is a fantastic tool used to provide instructions to a whole new level. It has numerous video and audio settings that can spice up your instruction! To the right is a video I created using iMovie!

Screencast-O-Matic

Screencast-O-Matic is a great tool to use for instruction. This tool provides screencasting and video recording software that can be used to make various types of videos. To the right is an example of me explain how to navigate through the a class using Screencast-O-Matic.

Google Forms

Google Forms is an amazing way to manage your job or classroom! It can be used for a variety of things. Some of the most useful aspects of it are feedback, quizzes, and questionnaires. However, there are so many more uses! To the right, is an example of a Google Form I created!

(2C) Tools for Assessment

Nearpod

Nearpod is a fantastic way to assess students in the beginning, middle, and end of a presentation. During the presentation, Nearpod allows for students to answer short response questions, multiple choice, drawing, and other things of this nature. To the right is an example of a Nearpod I have created.

Google Forms

Google Forms is a splendid way to create assessments. It can be used in multiple ways. The data collected from it can even be transferred into Google Sheets! The example to the right is a Google Form I created.
