ENGL 1030 – Accelerated Composition
LANG 3030 – Study Abroad Transfer
This course was taken during my time in Santiago de Compostela with my program leader from Clemson University. It consisted of in depth analysis of Spanish film consisted of multiple essays and presentations to show my Spanish capabilities.
SPAN 3040 – Intro to Hispanic Literary Forms
SPAN 3040 consisted of literature of the Hispanic world from the 1800s and 1900s from prominent figures. It allowed improvement of my translational and analytical abilities.
SPAN 3050 – Intermediate Spanish Conversation and Composition
SPAN 3050 was a course that allowed me to enhance my writing abilities and speaking abilities. It covered many topics on how to write narrative fiction, essays, and research papers to improve the structure and attractiveness of my work.
SPAN 3070 – The Hispanic World: Spain
SPAN 3070 was a cultural and historical class that taught me much about the history of Spain from Pre-Roman civilizations all the way to the end of the Spanish Civil War and the arrival of democracy.
SPAN 3160 – Spanish for International Business
SPAN 3160 was an introduction to the ways of business planning and management. It taught me Spanish jargon for employers, managers, and creating your own business and taught me how to create a business website that is very thorough and well planned.
SPAN 3180 – Spanish through Culture
SPAN 3180 consisted of reading and learning about authors, poets, artists and their work and analyzing and interpreting the significance of them. It allowed me to expand my mind and open it to more profound thoughts.
SPAN 4010 – New Spanish Fiction
SPAN 4010 was based on modern works of Hispanic authors which varied through many different topics such as progressivism, culture, fiction, and more. It had an emphasis on the cultural progression of Hispanics away from traditional values held in the 1800s and early 1900s.
SPAN 4030 – Spanish American Women Writers
Spanish American Women Writers was another course that showed the evolution of progressivism in Latin America and demonstrated the reasons and beliefs for the change in sociopolitical and philosophical views
SPAN 4060 –Hispanic Narrative Fiction
SPAN 4060 allowed me to understand not only changes in Latin America but Spain as well. It included modern issues of machismo, family, politics, history, and socioeconomic issues through literature and film
SPAN 4070 – Hispanic Film
SPAN 4070 enhanced my critical analysis as I learned to interpret Spanish film, its techniques and the history behind the films. Learned about the different eras of 20th century film in Spain and the ages and differences in styles and representation
SPAN 4090 – Comprehensive Writing in Spanish
Comprehensive Writing in Spanish improved and reviewed upon my grammatical abilities in writing covering various themes of fiction, non-fiction, and creative ways to express myself
SPAN 4110 – Advanced Spanish Conversation and Composition
SPAN 4110 is an advanced version of 3050 that aimed to enhance my language abilities and fluency through verbally and through writing.
SPAN 4350 – Contemporary Hispanic Culture
SPAN 4350 assimilated my mind to the sociopolitical beliefs and issues of the Hispanic world allowing me to expand my knowledge of many cultures and customs in Hispanic countries

IS 1010 – Study Abroad Cross-Cultural Awareness
ENGR 1020 – Engineering Discipline and Skills
Covered various forms of unit conversion, excel functions, graphing, and other basic principles of engineering
CHE 1300 – Intro to Chemical Engineering
Focused on chemical and biochemical processes and how to mathematically solve mass balances and code using command buttons in excel
CHE 2110 – Mass and Energy Balances
Taught more advanced mass and energy balances while also focusing on theory of PVT relationships in gases and vapors
ECE 2070 – Basic Electrical Engineering
Engaged in AC and DC circuit theory, devices used to measure electrical units, and how resistors, capacitors, and insulators affect the circuits
ECE 2080 – Basic Electrical Engineering Lab
Applied theory of ECE 2070 into real life measured values and gained first hand experience of measuring current and other values of electrical circuits
MATH 1060 – Calculus of One Variable I
Focused on derivatives and the applications of using derivatives to solve problems and basic integrals and their applications
MATH 1080 – Calculus of One Variable II
Increased learning of applications of integrals and how to solve for different forms of integrals. Basic learning of series and polar coordinates
MATH 2060 – Calculus of Several Variables
Applied integration in 3d objects, enhanced knowledge of polar coordinates and vectors
MATH 2080 – Introduction to Ordinary Differential Equation
Introduced differential equations and applications to real world issues, utilized Laplace transforms to obtain exact or series solutions
STAT 4110 – Statics Methods for Process Control
Allowed me to analyze and obtain experience in process control and quality control of processes by using statistics to prove efficient and non-efficient processes.
PHYS 1220 – Physics with Calculus I
Covered laws of motion, vectors, and conservation and applied them using many different word problems
PHYS 1240 – Physics Lab I
Analyzed real time experiments using the knowledge obtained from PHYS 1220 to prove and understand the reason behind the mathematics
PHYS 2210 – Physics with Calculus II
Basic teaching of circuits, thermodynamics, kinetic theory, particle motion, and types of fields
PHYS 2450 – Physics of Climate
Applied physics and excel to create data for an ArcGIS map of Greenland's ice cap melting, learned scientific reasoning and history behind the change in earth´s temperatures

Introduction to carbon chained molecules that demonstrate the reasoning of how certain types of chains react in a specific solvent and the reasoning of SP1 and SP2 reactions

Continuation and more in-depth theory on biomolecular structures and their behaviors in reacting with select solvents
CH 2290 – Organic Chem Lab
Chemical engineering organic chemistry that focused on the synthesis of different molecules
CH 3310 – Physical Chemistry I
Introduces experimental and theoretical equations for thermodynamics, equilibria, and structure of atoms and molecules
CH 3400 – Physical Chem Lab
Focused on measuring changes in frequency and energy of excitation states of molecules and atoms
CH 3600 – Chemical Biology
Analyzed the chemical structures of RNA, DNA, Amino acids, while explaining the reasons for bonding, oxidation, and reduction processes of living organisms
CH 4020 – Inorganic Chemistry
In-depth theory of bonding and types of bonds, structure, and excitation of elements and molecules
CH 4120 – Instrumental Analysis Lab
Hands on experience of analyzing contents and quantitatively measuring values of solutions using different spectroscopic methods, also allowed us to determine makeup of synthesized proteins, and water contents.
