Breeze: Phone Cleaner (“Breeze,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is developed by Md. Nasar Uddin Redoy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Breeze mobile application for iOS (the “App”).
By using Breeze, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Breeze is a phone cleaner that helps you free storage by finding duplicate photos, screenshots, blurry images, large videos, and duplicate contacts. Your photos, videos, and contacts are analyzed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
The only data transmitted off your device is related to in-app purchases and subscriptions, handled through Apple and our subscription partner RevenueCat.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising networks. We do not require you to create an account.
Breeze is designed to keep your personal content private. We do not collect, upload, or store on our servers:
Photos or videos from your library
Contact names, phone numbers, or email addresses
Your location
Your browsing history
Health, fitness, or biometric data (Face ID / Touch ID is processed only by Apple on your device to unlock the Private Vault)
Messages, call logs, or calendar data
All photo scanning, duplicate detection, swipe cleaning, video compression analysis, and contact duplicate detection happen locally on your iPhone or iPad.
The following data stays on your device and is used only to provide App features:
Data
Purpose
Photos & videos
Scan for duplicates, screenshots, blurry shots, and large files; compress videos; swipe-to-delete
Contacts
Find and merge duplicate contacts (with optional local vCard backup saved on your device)
Private Vault files
Encrypted storage of photos/videos you choose to hide (AES-GCM encryption; key stored in the device Keychain)
Cleaning statistics
Total space saved, cleanup count, last cleaned date (stored locally and shared with the Breeze widget via App Group)
App preferences
Settings such as weekly reminders, onboarding progress, and free-tier daily limits
Local notifications
Optional weekly reminder scheduled on your device
You can revoke photo or contact access at any time in Settings → Breeze on your device.
When you purchase Breeze Pro (weekly, yearly, or lifetime subscription / one-time purchase), payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive your credit card or payment details.
Apple may collect information according to its own privacy policy:
https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage subscriptions, verify purchases, restore purchases, and deliver Pro features across devices tied to your Apple ID.
RevenueCat may collect:
Purchase history (which products you bought, subscription status, renewal dates)
Anonymous user identifier (a random ID assigned by RevenueCat, not your name or email)
Product interaction data (such as which subscription plan you viewed or selected on the paywall)
Device and app information needed to process purchases (e.g., app version, device type)
This data is used for App Functionality only — to unlock Pro features and restore your subscription. It is not used for cross-app advertising or tracking.
RevenueCat’s privacy policy:
https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
We do not send RevenueCat your photos, contacts, vault contents, or cleaning results.
Permission
Why we need it
Photo Library
Scan and clean photos/videos on your device
Contacts
Find and merge duplicate contacts on your device
Face ID / Touch ID
Unlock the Private Vault (optional; processed by Apple, not sent to us)
Notifications
Optional weekly cleaning reminder (scheduled locally on your device)
You may deny any permission; related features will be limited but the rest of the App may still work.
Files you add to the Private Vault are:
Encrypted with AES-GCM before being saved in the App’s local storage
Decrypted only when you unlock with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode
Never uploaded to our servers or any cloud service we operate
If you delete the App, vault data stored inside the App may be permanently removed.
When you merge duplicate contacts, Breeze may save a local backup file (.vcf) on your device before merging. This backup is not uploaded anywhere. You are responsible for managing or deleting backup files on your device.
Breeze includes an optional home-screen widget that displays cleaning statistics (e.g., space saved, cleanable storage). This information is read from local storage shared between the App and widget via Apple’s App Group mechanism. Widget data is not sent to our servers.
Breeze is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
On-device data (stats, preferences, vault, scans): retained until you delete the App or clear App data.
Purchase data via RevenueCat: retained as long as needed to manage your subscription and comply with legal obligations. Contact us or use “Restore Purchases” in the App to recover Pro access.
Support emails: retained only as long as needed to respond to your request.
You can:
Revoke permissions in iOS Settings → Breeze
Cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
Restore purchases from the paywall or Settings screen in the App
Disable notifications in the App or iOS Settings
Delete the App to remove locally stored data
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we do not operate user accounts and do not store your photos or contacts on our servers, most personal content is already under your direct control on your device.
To exercise privacy rights related to purchase data, you may also contact RevenueCat directly per their privacy policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We share data only with:
Apple — for App Store payments and platform services
RevenueCat — for subscription and purchase management
Law enforcement — only if required by applicable law
Breeze is available in multiple countries. RevenueCat may process purchase data in the United States or other jurisdictions. By using paid features, you acknowledge that purchase-related data may be transferred to countries with different data protection laws, with appropriate safeguards as described by our service providers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
