What can I do to help?

Low commitment: 

Signup to help setup, tear down, work concessions or games, signup on signup genius for hospitality events, forward event photos to yearbook coordinator

Medium commitment: 

Behind the scenes planning (for ex plan event layout, games, prizes), assist with yearbook orders/distribution

High commitment: 

Coordinate event (come up with timeline for events, coordinate vendors if applicable, coordinate volunteers)

As events approach, we will be sending out a signup genius with different tasks/roles we need filled. Signup Genius links will be routinely added to the header and/or footer of this website. PLEASE HELP!

What if I can't volunteer in-person?

There is so much that can be done "behind the scenes". You can help with contacting vendors, sponsors, the yearbook, picking up supplies etc. You DO NOT need clearances to attend a PTO meeting!

What clearances do I need to volunteer in-person during school hours?

Per School Board Policy 916, the Manheim Township School District requires ALL volunteers to provide the standard clearances, dated within the last 5 year, listed below:

Child Abuse Background Check

PA Criminal History Check

PA Residency Affidavit or FBI Fingerprint Check

TB test (>10 hrs/week of volunteering)

MTSD Confidentiality Agreement
