BreathWise is built to support calm, focus, and healthy breathing—without tracking you or collecting any personal data. This document explains what the app does and does not store.

1. No Data Collection

BreathWise does not collect, store, or process any personal information. The app does not gather device identifiers, location data, contact information, usage patterns, analytics, cookies, or breathing metrics. Everything you do stays on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

2. No Accounts and No Cloud Services

The app has no login, no account creation, and no cloud synchronization. All functionality is available offline.

3. Local and Data Export

All progress tracking and app preferences are stored in a secure, isolated area on your device (often called a "sandbox"). This data stays strictly on your phone. If you choose to use the "Export" feature to save or share your data, the app generates a PDF and uses a standard sharing tool to hand that file over to the destination you choose (like your email or a file folder). Aside from this manual export, your data never leaves your device.

4. Notifications and Reminders

To provide Daily Affirmations and Reminders, the app will request permission to send notifications. These are local notifications triggered by your device's operating system based on your settings. No data regarding your notification schedules or affirmation interactions is ever collected or transmitted.

5. No Third-Party Services

BreathWise does not use any analytics SDKs, advertising libraries, tracking frameworks, crash reporting tools, or social media integrations. The app does not communicate with any external servers.

6. Offline Use and Time Zones

BreathWise is fully functional without an internet connection. Automatic time zone adjustments for reminders rely solely on your device's system clock. Disabling network access does not affect any features.

7. Updates to This Policy

If the app’s functionality ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated accordingly. BreathWise is intended to remain private, minimal, and free from tracking.
