Students learned how to excavate fungal gardens from ant colonies from Dr. Adrian Pinto and program facilitators. 

This is an ant colony! 

The colony has been removed from the original underground location and placed in a plastic box for research purposes. 

Students discussed, formulated and presented  their group research proposals.
