This platform and its educational resources have been developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership KA210 Project “Breaking the Filter – Media Literacy for a Global Perspective”. The project brings together partners from several European countries with the aim of strengthening media literacy, critical thinking, and digital competence among learners and educators.
The initiative is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme and runs from October 2025 to March 2027, focusing on cooperation, exchange of good practices, and the development of innovative open educational resources.
The platform is designed as an open educational space that can be used by teachers, students, youth workers, and anyone interested in improving media literacy skills. It supports both classroom learning and independent study.
Users can explore and use a variety of educational resources, including:
lesson plans and teaching materials
interactive learning activities and workshops
guides on critical thinking and fact-checking
resources for identifying misinformation and media bias
tools and examples for digital literacy education
These materials are intended to be adaptable and usable in different educational contexts, both formal and non-formal.
The platform also encourages collaboration and exchange of good practices among educators across partner countries, supporting a more critical and informed approach to media in a global digital environment.
