As a key component of finding accurate information is cross-checking facts, our interviews use similar baseline questions. Interview with Nurse Kalpin

Nurse Meaghan Kalpin has been a school nurse since the 2017/2018 school year. She took on the role of District Lead Nurse in 2022. Kalpin received her Master of Education in School Nursing in 2022 from Cambridge College. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Curry College in 2011. She is certified as a school nurse through the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and nationally certified by the National Board for Certification of School Nurses. She is a member of the National Association of School Nurses and the Massachusetts School Nurse Organization. Kalpin lives in Marblehead, MA, with her husband, 2 young boys, and dog Dozer. When she is not in the school health office, you can find her in her garden.

Doctor Stacey Snider has been a family physician for more than 20 years. Her practice includes a special focus on women’s health, pregnancy care, contraception, and menopause. She taught these skills and the importance of women’s health to medical students and residents as an adjunct professor with Western University. As a mother of three daughters, she believes strongly in the rights of women and access to health education and resources.

Dr. Maureen K. Baldwin, M.D., M.P.H., is an Associate Professor of Obsterics and Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where she specializes in family planning, adolescent gynecology, and early pregnancy care. She co-directs the Interdisciplinary Hematology-Gynecology Adolescent Clinic "Spots, Dots, and Clots" and serves as Clinical Director of the Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic. A strong advocate for menstrual equity, Dr. Baldwin's work focuses on improving access to reproductive healthcare and advancing research in early pregnancy management. Through her clinical care, education, and nationally recognized research, she is committed to supporting better menstrual health outcomes for all.
