Escola Secundária de Barcelinhos is a public secondary school located in the northwestern part of the country, in Barcelos. The school has classes from year 7 to year 12. The largest group of students are of secondary level (10th to 12th years). Most students attend regular secondary courses, such as Sciences and Technology, Social and Economic Sciences and Languages and Humanities. Vocational courses are also offered in three major areas: Tourism, Sports Management and ICT and Business Management. Students can participate in sports, scientific and cultural events through its clubs: Sports Club (Desporto Escolar), Robotics Club, Erasmus+ Project MoM, Drama Club, among others.
Galip Çetin Ortaokulu
Galip ÇETİN ıs a non-profit secondary school with 305 students of ages 11-14 and 30 teachers. It is located in Esme/USAK. Galip Çetin accepts students from neighbourhood and villages. We have three classes for mentally handicapped students and four special educatıon teachers . They have lessons according to their needs and they also have music, art and PE classes. Moreover we have extracurricular actıvıtıes for all students. We have sports club, art club, science club ,Culture and Literature club... etc. There are different programmes for pupils integrated to the mainstream classes.They have difficulties like learning as well as physical disabilities. These children are integrated in mainstream classes so they are working in close cooperation with other classmates that is a significant step to their development.
Gymnazium Ceske Budejovice, Jirovcova 8
Gymnazium České Budějovice, Jirovcova 8 is a secondary grammar school with numerous successes beyond regional significance. The total capacity is around 450 students per year. The education course is implemented in the study program of four-year and eight-year grammar schools on the basis of a wide range of general and optional subjects that allow students to develop their own interests and shape a career path, especially in the last two years of their studies. Pupils with various disabilities are included in the teaching. Each such student has an individual study plan and has an assistant.
Pušća Elementary School
Pušća Elementary School and Dubravica District School are located near Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Pušća Elementary School is one of the oldest schools in the western part of the Zagreb County. The school was founded in 1848. The first students who attended our school were 5 boys and 1 girl.
There are 310 students in the main school and 78 students in Dubravica District School. Our school has got 52 teachers. Pušća Elementary School has got an eight-year-long program and students learn regular subjects (Croatian, Art, Maths, English, Biology, etc.).
Our school has participated in a number of international projects. It has organised many different sports events for students and teachers and it offers a number of extracurricular activities. Also, our school has a student cooperative – Dubravica School Cooperative – where the students make different types of jam, juice and other delicious products. Students with various disabilities are included in the regular teaching program and activities.
Școala Gimnazială Viceamiral Ioan Murgescu,Valu lui Traian,Romania
“Viceamiral Ioan Murgescu” secondary school is an educational unit with tradition in Valu lui Traian village situated about 10 km from Constanta.
School’s history begins in 1926 when a small school unit is built, equipped with a single classroom. With the expansion of Valu lui Traian, they have joined more classrooms and other outbuildings.
In 2004, the school came under spiritual patronage of the unit 02159 Navy, receiving the name of “Viceamiral Ioan Murgescu” , in memory of the man who was commander of the Navy.
Soon “Viceamiral Ioan Murgescu” secondary school Valu lui Traian entered a complete renovation process. In September 2007 the new building is opened. The new Secondary School “Viceamiral Ioan Murgescu”, was built with funds from the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports.

Tukuma novada speciālās izglītības iestāde
Special Education Institution of Tukums Municipality is a school for special needs students with a total number of 204 students and 61 teacher and support team member. The school covers the following programmes: Special primary education programme for the students with mental disorders; Special primary education programme for the students with severe mental disorders or several severe developmental disorders; Vocational training programmes for carpenter assistants, cook assistants and housekeepers.
The school is motivated to increase students` involvement into study process and motivation. Teachers need to gain new skills and competences, learn new techniques and methods and increase the efficiency of the educational process teaching special needs students as the new model of learning and teaching will be introduced in Latvia in 2022.
