The program is dedicated to increasing accessibility to high-quality congressional debate instruction and to democratizing the rhetorical, research and argumentative skills that a proficiency in debate fosters. It does so by offering educational materials and both group and individualized instruction, all for free.

We are looking for people who are willing to help run the social media, give lectures, and involved in carrying out programming however they can. This program is fully virtual and accommodating to a range of commitment levels! Involvement in any capacity is skill-building (marketing, debate or both!) and a great way to demonstrate leadership potential--please sign up if you're interested!! Marketing Description Recording (using Zoom) and uploading videos to website Advertising lectures and office hours on Instagram General outreach to potential students and lecturers We use GoogleSites and Canva, which are super user-friendly and we have existing templates! no prior experience needed! (tinyurl.com/breakwithbronx | @breakwithbronx on Instagram) Lecturing Description Meeting once with Angelena to discuss and confirm lecture topic Preparing lecture materials Giving a lecture that can be republished on the Break with Bronx website Office Hours Description: Creating a Calend-ly with your availability so that participants can sign up for time slots Aiding office hour attendees to the best of your ability, whether that be through answering questions or preparing drills/instructional material beforehand Recording the full session for liability purposes
