Breadcrumbs does not collect any user data itself. all data is stored on the device and not sent anywhere.
Permissions
Breadcrumbs requires certain permission for the app to function.
Location
Location is requested and used for gathering GPS coordinates to log your trails. Background location permission is required so the app can continue to log GPS coordinates when the app is closed or minimized in the background.
Camera
Camera permission is used to take pictures of landmarks along your trail. The images captured are stored on the device under the app directory and never sent to a server. Camera permission is only required if you wish to log landmarks.
Notifications
Notification permissions are required to alert the user that the Trail Coordinates are being logged in the background. This allows the user to know when GPS coordinates are being logged. On dismissing the notification, the GPS service is stopped and the trail is ended.
Advertising
Breadcrumbs may show in app advertisements based on Google ad services. No information is being recorded, stored, or sent for the purpose of advertising as part of breadcrumbs itself.
However, Google ad services may incorporate certain identifiers in its Ads SDK for its own purposes to display ads and track metrics. This exists outside of breadcrumbs, as breadcrumbs only initializes the Ad SDK and shows a default advertisement it receives from Google Ad Servers based on a static advertisement identifier
