Why did I choose the name "BreadBxi"?

I wanted something clever and unique. Originally, I didn't really have a plan for my YouTube channel, maybe gameplay videos. I wanted a silly, possibly food-related name but because my real name is Brian, I also wanted something that started with the same "Br-" sound. Thus, BreadGaming64 was born (64 is my favorite number and is a stack of items in Minecraft).

Later on, I decided I wanted a name that was more general, not specific to gaming. So, I rebranded to BreadBoy64, no, BreadBoi64 'cuz I wanted it to be less serious. On Twitch, BreadBoi64 was already taken. So I made an exception to my univeral handle, 64BreadBoi, which I didn't like.

On Twitter, the same thing happened but I had an idea. You see, I listen to a lot of drift phonk music and there's a very common stylistic choice to replace O's and other vowels in names with X's (e.g. SHADOWBORN to SHADXWBXRN). I tested several variations but ultimately, one x was the best.

In Google Slides, I slapped together a stock image of a loaf of bread, dank meme glasses and some shapes to resemble a gaming headset.

It needed an update. I made a very simplified slice of bread with dank meme glasses and headset (also in Google Slides).

Later, I fixed the purple gradient, and shrunk it so that profile picture masking (circle cropping) wouldn't crop off the corners of my slice of bread.

Lastly, I incorporated Clippy to show my support for the Clippy movement, led by Louis Rossmann.
