These members were, Pastor Donald and Sister Tracie Hamm, Sister Deidra Turnipseed, Bria Mathis, Mother Jessie Slaughter, Brother Tobby Slaughter, Deacon Johnathan Perry and Sister Denise Perry, Sister Leveda Robinson, Treveyon Robinson, Jaquavious Harvey, JaKari Taylor, Joseph Taylor, Deacon Larry Hill and Sister Vicki Hill, Sister Larrika Andrews, Brother Micah Andrews, Brother Dejuan Jackson and Sister Erin Jackson, Brother William Respress and Sister Lisa Love, Chauntrice Respress, Brother Owen McGarvey, and Sister Phyllis Dennis became the founding members of the B.O.L.C.M.
On May 31, 2015, the installation of Elder Donald and Tracie Hamm as Pastor and Elder of the church marking another historic day for the B.O.L.C.M.
Through hard work, dedication, and commitment of B.O.L.C.M. family along with the visionary leadership of our Pastor that has played a major role in creating this advancement of God’s kingdom possible. However, we are mindful and acknowledge that had it not been for the Lord, where would we be? We are reminded of the hymn, “Look where the Lord has brought us, He has brought us from a mighty long way.”
We chose the name B.O.L.C.M. because it is the foundation of our commitment to the Lord installed from the beginning. It reinforces and recognizes our covenant as a Church to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We believe that God has uniquely positioned us to do remarkable things in building up and extending His kingdom to community and around the world. We hold to our belief and mindful that the foundation we are building must be rooted and grounded in His Word. We continue to lay strong roots for generations to come. As we continue our motto, forever will be, “We are a Church Where Changing Lives is Priority.”
