Bray Churches Together first started in the 1970s, when Fr John O’Connell encouraged the church leaders in the town to come together for fellowship. Over the years, these gatherings grew and, from them, interdenominational services and events developed.
Now each worshipping community appoints one representative to contribute to the Bray Churches Together Steering Group, to bring input from their community to the Group, and to encourage those in their community to get involved in Bray Churches Together initiatives.
Bray Churches Together promotes:-
co-operation between our worshipping communities as we witness to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
understanding among our different worshipping communities that we may encourage each other.
