The BRAVE Conference calls attention to Lab’s mission of “honoring diversity” by delving into cultural and ethnic issues and providing a safe place for open discussion. Race and ethnicity are immutable distinctions, but they must not be divisors. Through forthright discussion and unification, we can progress towards building support systems for each other and simultaneously ameliorate social and emotional disparities within our community.
