Best Papers Awards
BraSNAM 2023 will have the following awards, which will be announced during the event: Full Paper, Short Paper, and Dataset Paper.
We will select the distinguished papers in each category. The awards will be conferred to the author(s) of a paper presented at the conference. The decision criterion will consider both the paper quality and oral presentation quality.
The distinguished full and dataset papers submitted to BraSNAM will be invited to submit an extended and revised version to the iSys - Brazilian Journal of Information Systems (full papers).
Guidelines
The submitted work will be evaluated “blindly” (double-blind review), omitting any identification of their authors, as well as their reviewers. Each review will be done by a minimum of 3 program committee members. We aim for exemption and impartiality in the double-blind review process, so we analyze possible conflicts of interest in the process on a case-by-case basis and also qualitatively evaluate the reviews. We reiterate that the Steering Committee of BraSNAM works actively with the technical committee members to provide constructive reviews to the authors.
We emphasize that submissions to BraSNAM must follow the SBC Code of Conduct for Authors for Publications, which can be accessed here: https://sol.sbc.org.br/index.php/indice/conduta.
Our community also aims to follow open science practices. In this opportunity, we encourage authors to make source codes and datasets available whenever possible, aiming at transparency and replicability.
