About Us

The Brant Avenue Neighbourhood Group is an non-profit organization of community members committed to building and sustaining the community by strengthening individuals and families, and ensuring healthy growth and development for every child. It was originally established in 1992 and has been active in the community ever since. 

Programs include: 

• Food & Nutrition: 

  • Emergency food pantry

  • Snack program for school age children

  • Free bread - when available

  • Garden Fresh program, kindly sponsored by New Life Church

  • Bi-Weekly coffee hour 

• Programs for Children & Youth

  • Preschool programs

  • Child after school and youth and teen drop-in programs

  • Summer day camp 

• Other Community Supports

  • Free or low cost recreation activities for families

  • Seasonal community events

  • Referrals and advocacy
