About Me
I am an assistant professor of mathematics at Southern Oregon University. My research interests lie at the interface of symbolic computation and applications to the domain fields of differential geometry, mathematical physics, Lie theory, and the geometric theory of differential equations. In particular, my current program focuses on the group-theoretic (geometric) characterization of Darboux integrable partial differential equations.
Prior to coming to SOU, I completed a PhD in Mathematical Sciences at Utah State University under the supervision of Professor Ian Anderson and a MS in Applied Mathematics at the University of Central Arkansas.
I teach a variety of upper and lower division courses for the SOU mathematics department and have, over the past year, begun mentoring students as part of our developing undergraduate research program.
