This website presents an original research project on The Importance of Women-Owned Small Business Branding on Social Media. The content on this site includes a scholarly literature review and empirical research using a Interview as the data collection method.

from Google

The literature review section highlights what scholars have written in the past about the benefits women owned businesses have on the community, and the use of Instagram as a homebase for your businesses. The main themes of the scholarly research are building trust with consumers; rapid growth in followers; and the benefits women owned businesses have with economic instability.

This site also highlights a comprehensive discussion of scholarly literature that explains: the importance of branding for a small business; women owned businesses peak during COVID-19;  the benefits to using Instagram as a home base for a small business; the role of E-WOM to grow your business; and how personal content can help build  brand trust and awareness for small businesses.

Interviews were conducted to help develop a free flowing conversation with participants to have a better understanding of how small businesses currently use social media when branding their business.

This research attempts to see ways other women owned small businesses can consider implementing to help grow their business. Instagram is a social media platform that many businesses decide to use to spread word about their business, and share information about what is currently happening behind the scenes.
