  Overview

  Branchly is a Chrome extension that helps you branch off ChatGPT and Gemini conversations into new contextual threads.                                                                                                                             

  Data Collection

  Branchly does not collect, transmit, or share any user data. No personal information is collected. No analytics or tracking tools are used. No data is sent to any server or third party.                                                          

  Data Storage

  All data (your branch tree, conversation context, and preferences) is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device.                                                                                          

  Website Access

  Branchly only operates on chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, and gemini.google.com. It does not access any other websites.                                                                                                                              

  Permissions

  Branchly requests the minimum permissions necessary: sidePanel (tree panel), activeTab & scripting (read selected text, automate new chats), storage (persist state), and tabs (navigate to branches).
