Bramble Rota Privacy Policy

Bramble Rota is a mobile rota and visit attendance app for authorised carers working with Bramble and participating domiciliary care agencies.
Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to carers who have been given an authorised Bramble Rota account. The app is not for public self-registration.
Information We Process
We process the following information to provide the app:
- Account information, such as your login email address and authentication identifiers.
- Carer rota information, such as your assigned visits, visit times, visit type, carer profile details, and rota notes.
- Visit information, such as service user or client names and visit addresses where these are required to show your rota and support attendance.
- Foreground location information when you choose to check in or check out of a visit.
- Attendance records, such as check-in time, check-out time, distance from the visit address, and any checkout notes you enter.
- Technical information needed to operate and secure the app, such as device, session, and diagnostic information.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- authenticate authorised carers;
- show assigned rota appointments;
- support visit check-in and check-out;
- record attendance for agency administration;
- maintain app security and reliability;
- investigate support requests and operational issues.
Location Data
Bramble Rota uses location only while the app is open and only when you use check-in or check-out. The app compares your current location with the visit address to verify attendance. Bramble Rota does not collect background location.
Who Information Is Shared With
Information may be shared with:
- the care agency responsible for the rota and visit administration;
- Bramble personnel who need access to operate, support, or secure the service;
- service providers that host, store, build, deliver, or support the app and its backend systems;
- regulators, authorities, or other parties where required by law.
We do not sell personal information.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, support care agency administration, meet legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. The relevant care agency may set additional retention rules for rota, visit, and attendance records.

To request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy support, contact:

Carers may also contact their care agency manager for records managed by the agency.
Security
We use access controls, authentication, and database security rules to limit app data to authorised users. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information processed by Bramble Rota.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app or service changes. The updated policy will be published at the same privacy policy URL with a revised effective date.
